Mongoose brings texting best practices to AFP WNY this June

1 min read

At Mongoose, we’re driven by one goal - helping higher ed institutions improve communication between college staff and their constituents. That’s why we’re a proud sponsor of AFP WNY Chapter’s Annual Fundraising and Networking Conference and eager to participate in this year’s event.

We work closely with more than 400 institutions and our top-rated texting platform, Cadence, is growing in popularity among advancement departments. We’ll be sending two of our team members to the conference in June. You’ll have the opportunity to hear from Lauren Jaeger, our Director of Client Development, who has a diverse background in fundraising at Daemen College, Kent State University, The American Heart Association, and Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.

Our session, “Texting: Modernizing a tired engagement and stewardship plan,” will show attendees how to utilize texting to maximize engagement and overall cultivation. We’ll include success stories from teams across the nation that have found innovative and creative ways to reach their constituents. These same strategies can be used outside of higher ed to increase response, engagement, and donations.

Also, throughout the conference, all text updates will be managed through our platform, Cadence. Text messages will be sent to attendees regarding relevant, important conference details and announcements. Attendees will be able to text into a designated phone number with any conference-related questions they may have.

We’re excited to be a part of the conference and looking forward to a great event. Until then, visit MongooseResearch.com/AFPWNY to:

  • Download 15 texting templates for advancement that will make your life easier.
  • View additional texting resources, best practices, and case studies.
